Today I picked up the last book of my Salinger collection at Elliot Bay; Franny and Zooey. I've already read it, but it's one of those books that's so epic you have to go back through and read it again, underlining quotes and writing in the margins. I've recently been going in every bookstore I see (Elliot Bay, Barnes & Noble, U Bookstore, Third Place Books, Twice Sold Tales, Powell's...) looking for used copies of all of Salinger's books, and now I've got all 4. I would highly recommend reading any of them, but I'll list them by favorite: Franny and Zooey, The Catcher in the Rye, and Nine Stories (I have one left to read: Raise High the Roof Beam, Carpenters and Seymour an Introduction, but I'm saving it for my days at the beach in L.A.).
